Unfortunately, due to changes in macOS 10.15 Catalina and support for third-party drivers, we are unable to continue support for macOS with our ASIX USB to Ethernet adapters (USB3-E1000, USBC-E1000, USB2-E1000, USB2-E100, USB2-OTGE100). You’ll need to grab MacOS Mojave from the Mac App Store. The best way to retrieve a copy is to follow this link on a Mac, as Mojave doesn’t show up when performing a search within the Mac App Store itself. Clicking the link should automatically load Mojave’s product page within the Mac App Store app. Step 4: Prepare your drive.
Forza horizon 3 pc patch download. On the 30th January 2013 Microsoft announced Office 2013 for Windows and new options on their Office 365 service. So what's new/good for Mac users?
Firstly, there is no new version of Office for Mac. They did, however, release a free 14.3.1 update aka Service Pack 3 for Office 2011 which makes it compatible with the office 365 service. Microsoft develops the Mac version of Office on a leapfrog cycle so looking at past history:
2003 for Windows
2004 for Mac
2007 for Windows
2008 for Mac
2010 for Windows
2011 for Mac
2013 for Windows
Therefore doing the math the next version of Office for Mac would be Office 2014 and would probably be released within in the next 18 months (this is assuming there is a new version being written which is highly likely as Office for Mac is a very lucrative cash cow for Microsoft).
The good news is that if you have macOS 10.14 Mojave installed on your Mac or MacBook, then you'll be able to run macOS 10.15 Catalina. Here's the full list of macOS Catalina-compatible devices. Welcome to LeapFrog. You are currently visiting the United States LeapFrog site, which doesn't appear to match your current location. For this reason, some features, such as checkout, may not be available to you. To switch to a different locale, click the country link in the footer and select a different country. Restart your Mac and try logging in under a different user; Check your Mac for hidden background apps and disable those; How to check your macOS Catalina for hidden processes. There are many so-called daemons or Launch Agents that operate in the background on your Mac.
For the Mac you can buy boxed editions, volume licensing and now subscription licensing through Office 365. Different versions come with different software (updated as of 25/02/2013 with price increases and medialess editions†):
Office 2011 Home & Student available as a single user license but does not include Outlook (previously also available as a 3 user 'Family Pack')
Office 2011 University has one licence but does include Outlook (Full and part time, enrolled university and college students and faculty in accredited institutions. Alumni of these institutions are ineligible)
Office 2011 Home & Business available as a single user license and includes Outlook (previously also available as a single user 'dual install' edition)
Office 2011 Volume Licensing minimum 5 licence purchase, includes Communicator for Mac and Lync for Mac + has single serial number and does not require activation
Office 365 Subscription includes Office 2011 with Outlook, SkyDrive and Skype minutes
The subscription licensing is similar to Adobe's Creative Suite in the Cloud. You pay monthly/yearly, you download the software, it works while you pay, it stops working when you stop paying. If a new version comes out while you are subscribing you get the new version.
† Medialess editions do not contain installation media/discs. You get a unique code in the box that allows you to download the software installer via the internet.
The big news is that Microsoft have launched a 'Home Premium' version of their Office 365 subscription service which includesfive cross platform licenses (Mac or Windows) for the Office suite including Outlook (Outlook is not included in the boxedOffice 2011 Home and Student editions) for £79.99 a year [approximately £67 from Amazon UK]. You also get a SkyDrive account with access to Office WebApps + a monthly Skype world minutes allowance. That's pretty good valueespecially if you have multiple computers in the home (and it doesn't matter whether they are Mac or Windows). However, youshould note that this subscription is for non-commercial users only!
So our recommendations are:
First, are you a non-commercial user or a commercial user?
- If you are still using Office 2004: NOTE: Office 2004 is no longer supported i.e. no new security updates, so upgrading is probably wise unless you have a PowerPC Mac and need Visual Basic as Office 2008 does not include this facility.
- Non-commercial user with PowerPC Mac - upgrade to Office 2008
- Commercial user with PowerPC Mac - upgrade to Office 2008
- Non-commercial user with Intel Mac - consider the Office 365 Home Premium subscription service
- Commercial user with Intel Mac - upgrade to retail boxed Office 2011 and ignore the new Office 365 Home Premium subscription service
- If you are still using Office 2008: NOTE: Office 2008 is no longer supported i.e. no new security updates, so upgrading is probably wise.
- Non-commercial user - consider the Office 365 Home Premium subscription service
- Commercial user - continue using 2008 or consider upgrading to the retail boxed Office 2011 and ignore the new Office 365 Home Premium subscription service
- If you already have Office 2011:
- Non-commercial user - consider the Office 365 Home Premium subscription service especially if you are using the Home & Student edition (as the subscription service includes 5 licenses and Outlook + other extras)
- Commercial user - carry on, nothing to see here, ignore the new Office 365 Home Premium subscription service
If you need to remove Microsoft Office from your Mac because you want to clear older versions out after installing an upgrade or you want to clean things up before installing the subscription license see our articles:
There is still no news on a version of Microsoft Office for iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod).

You installed Apple’s new MacOS Catalina on your Mac, but you might be having issues with the new version.
Unfortunately, you can’t simply revert back to Mojave. The downgrade requires wiping your Mac’s primary drive and reinstalling MacOS Mojave using an external drive. If your Mac initially shipped with Mojave, however, you can skip the external drive instructions.
Step 1: Back up your Mac
Before anything, create a current Time Machine backup to save your files, or send everything to the cloud, whether it’s Dropbox, OneDrive, iCloud, and so on. Chances are you may already have a backup prior to installing Catalina. If not, do so now before moving on to the next step. As stated, downgrading to Mojave requires wiping your Mac’s drive.
If you need help backing up your Mac, follow these step-by-step instructions.
Step 2: Enable external media booting
This step applies to MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and Mac mini models released in 2018 and newer. It also applies to the iMac Pro released in 2017 and newer. These devices include Apple’s T2 security chip providing secure boot, encrypted storage, live “Hey Siri” commands, and more.
To verify that you have this chip, follow this path:
Apple button > About This Mac > System Report > Controller (or iBridge)
If your Mac doesn’t include Apple’s T2 security chip, you won’t need to enable external media booting. Otherwise, restart the Mac and hold down the Command and R keys until the device boots into Recovery Mode.
With Recovery Mode open, click Utilities on the toolbar followed by Startup Security Utility in the drop-down menu. Enter the administrator credentials when prompted then check the box next to the Allow booting from external media option listed under External Boot.
Step 3: Download MacOS Mojave
You’ll need to grab MacOS Mojave from the Mac App Store. The best way to retrieve a copy is to follow this link on a Mac, as Mojave doesn’t show up when performing a search within the Mac App Store itself.
Clicking the link should automatically load Mojave’s product page within the Mac App Store app.
Step 4: Prepare your drive
To continue on, you’ll need to format an external drive. Connect an external drive and follow this path:
Finder > Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility
Select your drive listed under External and click the Erase tab. Name the drive, select the proper format (MacOS Extended or APFS), select GUID Partition Map if available, and then click Erase. Select Done when the formatting completes. /lazesoft-live-cd.html.
Now the external drive needs to be bootable. Follow this path:
Finder > Applications > Utilities > Terminal
Type the following into the Terminal. Remember to replace “YourExternalDriveName” with the drive’s actual name you created in the formatting step.
sudo /Applications/Install macOS Mojave.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia –volume /Volumes/YourExternalDriveName
Press the Enter/Return key after typing the command. You’ll need to enter the administrator password when prompted followed by the “Y” key to confirm.
Step 6: Wipe your Mac’s drive
With MacOS Mojave now installed on an external drive, you’re ready to wipe your Mac’s drive. Don’t connect the drive just yet. Instead, restart and hold down the Command and R keys until the device boots into Recovery Mode.
Next, click the Disk Utility option followed by Continue. On the following screen, select your Mac’s primary drive and click the Erase button. Follow the instructions to pick a drive name, file format, and GUID Partition Map.
Step 7: Install Mojave
If your Mac shipped with MacOS Mojave, restart and hold down the Shift, Option, Command, and R keys simultaneously. This will automatically install Mojave from an image located on a dedicated partition.
Otherwise, connect your Mac to the internet, connect the external drive, and restart via the Apple icon in the top left corner. As the Mac restarts, hold down the Option key.
The following screen will present a list of startup disk options. Select your external drive containing the MacOS Mojave installer and click Continue.
Step 8: Use Time Machine
Now that MacOS Mojave is up and running, you want to use Time Machine to restore your settings and files to their pre-Catalina state.
Restart the Mac and hold down the Command and R keys to enter Recovery Mode. Click the Restore from Time Machine Backup option listed on the MacOS Utilities pop-up. Click Continue to enter this mode followed by another Continue button to acknowledge the info.
Begin the backup restoration by selecting your backup source. Next, select the most recent Mojave backup to continue.
